BSD at Data Centre World Asia 2025 – Sustainability vs. Profitability Panel
BSD was grateful for the opportunity to have our Technical Director, PingQuen YONG, share BSD’s perspectives at the panel “Sustainability vs. Profitability: Best Strategies for Optimal Integration Towards Green Data Centers.” The session brought together regional leaders to discuss how sustainable design, operational efficiency, and strong business outcomes can be complementary goals in modern data centre development.
How it was in 2025
Turning efficiency, cooling, and measurement into business value
The discussion explored how innovations in cooling and water management, smart energy strategies, and robust sustainability measurement are enabling data centres to achieve greener operations while strengthening profitability. BSD shared insights on the long-term value of advanced engineering and reliable metrics—supporting better decisions, clearer performance tracking, and measurable outcomes over the asset lifecycle. The panel closed with a future-focused outlook on deeper collaboration, scalable innovation, and actionable steps that operators can take to accelerate progress toward greener, more profitable digital infrastructure. We also extend our thanks to the panelists—Sumit Mukhija (DCI), Eric Fan (Bridge DC), Kelly Lu (ECOLAB), and David Sullivan (CHINT)—and moderator Rhys Morgan (Infranovus) for an engaging exchange of strategies and ideas.
