Collaborating for Low-Carbon Interiors: Designer–Supplier Strategies for GMI
Delivering low-carbon interiors begins with the right partnerships. At the Singapore Interior Design Accreditation Council (SIDAC) seminar “Collaborating for Low-Carbon Interiors: Designer–Supplier Strategies for GMI”, Building System and Diagnostics Pte Ltd (BSD) and Climate Asia Pte Ltd joined industry practitioners to exchange ideas on integrating sustainability seamlessly into interior design.

Practical strategies for Green Mark Interiors-ready design and documentation
Our speakers, Tai Kwan On (BSD) and Wenjie Chen (Climate Asia), shared practical insights alongside fellow panellists on how project teams can strengthen Green Mark Interiors (GMI) submissions and outcomes. Key themes included integrating low-carbon considerations from the early design stage, selecting and documenting sustainable materials, balancing aesthetics, cost, and environmental performance, and addressing common challenges encountered during GMI submissions. We extend our thanks to SIDAC and Admira for hosting this meaningful session at The Library showroom, and to all designers and suppliers who joined the discussion. Collaboration remains essential for creating interior spaces that are both high-quality and sustainable. If you are exploring Green Mark Interiors strategies or need sustainability support for your next project, connect with BSD or Climate Asia to discuss how we can work together.
