GO 25 – SMALL ACTIONS, BIG IMPACT
The Lake Garden Residence

As a leading consultancy in building performance and sustainable development across Singapore and the region, BSD is proud to support the Go 25 movement — an initiative by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC).

Go 25 calls on buildings to raise indoor air-conditioning temperatures to 25°C or higher, helping to reduce energy consumption, mitigate the urban heat island effect, and strengthen climate resilience.

At BSD, we see Go 25 not just as a temperature guideline, but as a catalyst for smarter, energy-efficient cities:

“Go 25 is not just about adjusting temperatures; it’s a stepping stone towards a smarter, more energy-efficient, and better-living urban future.”

Mapletree Business City

Together for sustainable development, BSD helps our partners:

  • ✅ Design green buildings using passive and active thermal strategies that support 25°C setpoints and beyond — including building physics analysis, natural ventilation, and heat gain reduction through smart design
  • ✅ Implement Measurement & Verification (M&V) and lifecycle energy management to ensure cooling systems perform efficiently at higher temperatures
  • ✅ Advise developers, facility managers, and policymakers with climate-aligned, evidence-based solutions that balance comfort and energy performance

🌍 Taking action for a greener city starts with rethinking every degree — and every decision in design, operations, and mindset.
